Ideal Systems selected by Tencent for the filming and live stream of ‘Produce Camp 2019’

‘Produce Camp 2019’ is a Chinese reality television show produced by Tencent Video. The series was presented by Dilraba Dilmurat, a well-known Chinese actress and featured male trainees that compete for a place to debut under the final 11 members group.

The program was produced in Wanda Studios in Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis. Ideal Systems was awarded the contract, for the filming and live content on the night of the finale. To achieve this Ideal Systems mobilised a setup that included but was not limited to the following:

·      24 cameras & 60 show cameras video system for Rank & Seat and filming three public shows;

·      160 channel recording system, 27 sites and 48 NLE;

·      16 reality show camera positions in the rehearsal hall and 60 in the dormitory;

·      Cameras in various places of the studios connected by optical fibre;

·      the power system of the above equipment, etc.;

The central equipment room and the on-site production located in different buildings of the studios. In this system, the cameras and the switcher were placed at the front end, whereas the matrix multi-viewers system where in the central equipment room. And the process of video, audio, talkback monitoring, synchronization, communication, control, TALLY connection and scheduling was completed through the optical fibre transmission.  

This project shows Ideal Systems skills and capability for delivering complex solutions for remote productions for major programs successfully.
