The facility includes a next gen metaverse / extended reality (XR) studio, as well as cutting-edge video production facilities and control rooms. The studios are fitted with the latest live production tools, including AI-enhancement features aimed at helping content creators craft virtual media content. The setup includes a complete 4K-ready audio and video chain facilitated by modern NDI and Dante tools.

Mo-Sys Engineering, a world leader in virtual production (VP), remote production and image robotics, is working with Ideal Systems to drive forward the adoption of virtual and augmented reality production in broadcast across Asia and the Middle East.
Ideal Systems, the local systems integrator, was commissioned to build Abu Dhabi Media’s purpose-built, state-of-the-art five-camera studio and gallery at the Expo 2020 site. Five wireless cameras are being used to capture content from the pavilions.
Four EnGo mobile transmitters enable Abu Dhabi Media production crew to contribute live footage and interviews from the pavilions to a WayPoint receiver at the studio on site. The transmitters also provide real-time voice communications between the director in the studio and the presenter on the ground.
