2RU Rack Mountable Range
This universal touchscreen control surface is 2RU rack mountable, with an embedded X86 / ARM platform and Ethernet connectivity. The display has 1920 x 285 pixels and an optically bonded capacitive touchscreen providing optimum optical quality.
4RU Rack Mountable Range
4RU 19” rack mount ready TFT display with capacitive touch for Broadcast applications. It can be used for signal and picture monitoring, or a control system with the help of multi-touch PCT, or a combination of both. It allows multiple video picture monitor and audio level displays to be presented side-by-side.
10.1” HMI Control Surface
The Densitron IDS 10.1” HMI Control Surface with a powerful display processor is an interactive display with a high contrast and high resolution IPS TFT with 1200 x 1920 resolution. Housed in a steel enclosure, it can be wall or desktop mounted meaning your control interfaces can be placed exactly where you want them.
Densitron’s modular design of HMI control surface is suitable for applications in Broadcast, Telecommunications, and other networked control and monitoring systems.
DENSITRON IDS USED CASES
IDEAL Systems have installed Denistron IDS in CNBC studios to provide basic control of the multimedia studios in London and Singapore via IDS touchscreens. CNBC can control the Birddog PTZ cameras, Yamaha TF1 audio mixer, and the Chamsys DMX controllers through a single layout. This way, operators can control both the local and remote studios using the same interface.
BBC STUDIO
For BBC, IDS not only provides touchscreens, cue lights and wall-mounted displays in each studio, it also allows the team to easily change which studio is in control and activates coloured LED lighting strips around the top of the glass walls to indicate how the studios are configured, which one is in control, when mics are live and so on.
CHANNEL 4
Utilizing IDS, Channel 4 has gained additional functions within its previous production timer. Various elements within the bulletins traditionally required manual input of certain details, now IDS production timer calculates and enters those details automatically.
