  • Two-tier video wall screen design adds depth and a distinctive style, pioneering a visual narrative never seen before.

  • Cohesive design elements thread through the set, weaving a visually intriguing, eye-catching tapestry that holds the viewer’s gaze.

  • Every shot is a creative pass, smoothly transitioning between positions. This fluid handover maintains a visual dialogue, linking presenters across diverse locations within a single frame.

  • Set isn’t just designed to be shot from inside — it’s a visual spectacle from the outside, especially when viewed from the lofty perch of the second floor. Every angle has been aesthetically engineered.

  • Newsroom, an extension of the set, exudes a professional allure on-screen while offering a comfortable ambiance for journalists. Thoughtful lighting ensures the space is ready for every purpose, be it broadcasting or workspace.

Design Intent

  • To create a visually stunning studio both on and off-camera shots

  • News center concept that included all kinds of program sets for the program directors

  • Multifunction to suit current programs and give flexibility to future programs

Design Concept

  • “Globe” is the main design concept/element, with the news platform in the center

  • Curve features around the studio area created a globe shape visual impact from the outside of the studio area. From the inside of the studio area, the curve features became the multi-layer backdrops for all the sets, expressing Al-Ghad TV’s news platform is connected from the center to the whole world.

  • Curve line graphic patterns on the floor and curve features represent Al-Ghad TV’s global news network coverage and fast connections.

  • Color scheme: white, silver & light gray, with RGBW LED lightboxes and LED strips to light onto the color finishing surface, to produce all kinds of color schemes to suit different types of news programs in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

Set Design and Functions

  • Typical seating news reporting, multi-guest interview, breaking news area, large LED screen standing news reporting and live streaming interview, all their set functions are continuously layout along the outer ring of the ellipse shape studio.

  • The camera zone is in the centre of the studio, fast/easy to move and switch the shots between the sets. The directors can use multi sets in a single program, each news is presented in the best suitable set.

  • 1 large and 1 small presenter desk with movable platform, flexibility to use any part of the studio as a backdrop and interaction with nearby sets

  • Reserved space for immersive graphics on the floor and curve feature, adding another dimension for the news presentations.

LED Screen with Motorized Track Design

  • 5 sets of LED screens, all in different sizes, 3 of them are on motorized tracks and 1 on a rotating frame.

  • Different combinations of LED screens provide maximum flexibility for information/video display to suit different types of programs and scenarios.

  • Presenter facing the screen for single and multi guests live-streaming interviews, as well as live interaction with reporters on the news scene.
